Seti River White Water River Rafting Nepal - 2 Days

Seti River is a really unique and pleasant picturesque river passing through two beautiful and contrasting scenic areas. Relatively small volume, blue and warm water, we strongly recommend this is a ‘warm up’ river for intermediate kayakers. Seti rises on the southeast slopes of the sacred Mountain Fishtail and then flows to south, as a fairly typical Nepalese mountain river.

The seti is an excellent 2 days trip in an isolated area, where beautiful jungle, plenty of easy rapids and fantastic Himalayan scenery. The river is an excellent for beginners, intermediate, learner and family trip. The trip starts at Damauli about 6 hours drive from Kathmandu or 1.5 hours drive from Pokhara. The take out, many choose to incorporate a ride down the Trisuli with either a trip to Pokhara or to Royal Chitwan National Park Jungle Safari tours.

The warm and beautiful Seti River passes through stunning jungle scenery, green hills and valleys. It is an excellent river for bird-watchers and those interested in the abundance of nature found on this trip. This normally gentle river has plenty of small and straightforward rapids. During the monsoon months the intensity of the rapids increases and attracts a radically different set of rafters. The Seti is an ideal trip for those wanting to experience some of the stunning river scenery in Nepal without the intensity of complex or challenging rapids. It is also very well suited to family trips and best river to learn kayaking in Nepal.
